Perhaps the most notorious pirate throughout the world of fiction, Long John Silver possesses all of the wit and charm that fans look for in pirates. Missing appendage? Check. Trickery and cunning? Check. Death threats to young boys? Check.
So, this year we congratulate you, Mr. Silver, on being 2011′s Best Pirate. You have earned your position in the Hall of Great Pirates!
